Survive Create Prosper update and BisectHosting sponsoring

Great news, everyone!

Not only is a new update for SCP4 out, as well as a new server pack to go along with it, but we’re now being sponsored by BisectHosting as well! Don’t worry, nothing is going to change for you. Server packs will still be released with every update as per usual. Had this deal had any impact on the functionality or the way the updates are released, I would not have accepted it.

The way the sponsoring works is, if someone decides to order a server through my referral link, I get a cut off of the first month purchased, as well as a cut of every following month. I also get access to some great services to improve the modpack. Who know, maybe I’ll make use of them. They certainly have some pretty damn talented people over at BH.
Honestly, I feel a little bad. I get money and get to use their services, and in turn they get some banners on my modpack descriptions, changelogs and a button on the main menu of SCP4. Sounds a wee bit one-sided, if I’m being honest. But hey, who am I to say no to that!

Anyway.

Enough of that. I’m sure you want to know what the update for SCP4 is all about!
Well, mostly mod updates…loooooots of mod updates. As far as the mod BetterEndForge goes, the latest update 1.4.1 is being held back as their fix for the biome generation clashes with mixin of other mods, at least as far as I can tell. Not exactly an expert in Java, just started to work my way into it. So, up until said clash is fixed, BetterEndForge updates will, sadly, be held back and you will have to enable the biome generation for The End manually, as you have been previously. In case you didn’t know, there’s a guide which tells you how said generation is achieved for an already existing or new world.
